I think the media image of "ideal " men and "skinny" women is OK because I think the figures are cool. And we can try to make effort for the trend. I think it is good to have such a purpose.
Of course, we should accept many differences regardless of styles. It is dangerous to praise only "ideal" and "skinny" people because it means other people are not attractive.
But I think we don't have to worry about the discrimination so much.
In fact, people who have the styles media releases are not so many. Therefore, many goods about beauty and fashion are sold well in order to get ideal figure, I think.
Finally, I think it is important to think what does madia aim at, for it may only tell the real trend or make people buy goods. If we think the information is good and reliable, we should choose it. I think it is natural that there are many different of madia. So we need to find favorite media and information and it is each responsibility.

Kim Jonil in JAPAN for talks
Kim Jonil has gone to Japan for the first time to talk to the prime minister, Yukio Hatoyama, about Asia-pacific peace process.
With its attempt to make peace , Japan is concentrating its efforts on further talks with the North Korean from now on.
Hatoyama has a particular interest in those negotiations.
Welcoming Kim Jonil, Mr Obama said the peace process would become stronger as more and more people benefited from it.
Kim Jonil said he hoped this year would see a breakthrough.

The Simpsons
I think The Simpsons has some difference from Japanese comedy. Characters in The Simpsons are sometimes described as extreme, for example, main character Homer breaks a car. Although they are typical middle-class family, impossible events which include irony often happen. I think the unbeliebable happenings make people laugh.
And Japanese comedy is also similar to Americans. "Chibimaruko-chan" also describes ordinary middle-class family. There is less little impossible events than it, but a popular animation for long time in Japan.
Finally, I think The Simpsons is more exaggerated than Japanese comedy.
